The
Law of Attraction
says "You will attract in like what you send out." This is very real and you can see examples of this happening in your own life as well as others. Giving and receiving are one in the same. To give is to receive and vice, versa. The
art of giving
is a surefire way of getting back, what you put into your life.
There is a very real paradox to this law. It is as if this
universal law
is performing a parlor trick on you. What often comes back to you is not related to what you gave out. This is one of the reasons people will see what comes back to them as luck, or coincidence. The universal law, regards giving and taking as an exchange of energy; but if we give someone a car, then get back a boat, we often miss the connection.
Also, we should not expect anything in return. This is difficult to comprehend, but the very nature of giving and receiving is based on not looking for reciprocation from giving. If you buy lunch for a friend, do not expect your friend to buy dinner for you. Make sense?
Giving comes from the heart. Expecting certain people to be giving back to you in return for you giving to them shuts down the process of "giving and receiving". You have every right to expect this universal law to work for you because it will if you let it. Letting this energy exchange work for you, requires you to step aside and not tell the process how to do its own job.
The art of giving is something anyone wishing to be happy and successful in their lives should learn and develop as an automatic action. This is something that is done naturally and often. The return for you will be what you put into it with no strings attached.
Truly successful people have character traits in common that use the art of giving in their lives, sometimes not even fully aware of the principles they are using. Successful people have successful lives they are living. They are motivated, energized, and happy and are grateful for what they have. They also understand that they would not be where they are if there was not some higher power working in their lives.
The most successful people are those that use the art of giving in their lives daily. This has become a part of their nature. They realize that the world does not revolve around them. They know that they are only a part of something much larger than themselves and feel truly blessed for being allowed to give to others.
People that feel empowered know that giving and receiving are one in the same. They do not simply give to others because they think they should. They give because the desire is from their soul and spirit. This is what makes them feel good.
Giving thanks
for the opportunity to give is something we can cultivate. It is remembering who we are to each other. It is celebrating our lives with others. It is having a grateful attitude to be alive in even the most challenging and toughest times in our lives.
Many people in business are now using this universal energy exchange principle instead of "transactional reciprocity" principle that never really worked very well, anyway. This old school way of "tit-for-tat", or "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine" never engages the true power of reciprocity, so it never brings extraordinary results.
The art of giving and receiving is indirect. You never know where the reciprocal exchange will come from, or what it will be. That is part of the fun! It simply works when you take your hand off of this steering wheel and let the force steer the car.
As this art of giving becomes second nature to you, you will find it impossible to track everything that is coming in to you. Not that you could have in the first place, but you will find yourself letting go and giving in this energy exchange and accepting it for what it is a gift.
When you start understanding that this is a God given gift, this is when you really begin appreciating your life, being truly grateful for being alive and reaping your success. And all you really had to do was start giving. How hard was that?
