Gratitude, appreciation, or thankfulness is a positive emotion or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive.
Gratitude and the
Law of Attraction
work in harmony together. When you are showing appreciation or feeling grateful you are projecting positive vibrations towards something that you enjoy. As we learned in
Law of Vibration
“like attracts like” leaving the only outcome for us to receive more of that which we feeling grateful towards.
How can we use the “Power of Appreciation” to better our lives and attract more of what we desire?

we are projecting positive energy to the universe for things we desire. We all have situations in our lives that may be hard to find Gratitude
How can we use the “Power of Appreciation” to better our lives and attract more of what we desire?
There are always two sides to a situation. Let’s look at an example.
On your way to work you get a flat tire. I don’t know anyone that enjoys getting a flat tire. You now have a choice in your self talk and response. Do you get out and kick the tire backed by a few nasty words and project your dissatisfaction to the universe? When you finally get to work late you tell the boss and your co-workers several times about the negative experience you had on the way to work.
The feeling of fear and frustration kick in now that you are thinking about the money you have to spend on getting a new tire and the money you lost by being late for work. With this attitude and self talk you will attract more negative experiences into your day.
On the other hand you get out of the car and laugh. Think that this situation is funny. Oh well I am going to be late for work today I am sure I’ll still be able to get everything done and if not I know my co-workers will assist me. You change the tire and proceed to work. When you get to work you thank the boss for understanding your tardiness and offer to stay after if you and your other co-workers are not able to get everything accomplished. At lunch with your co-workers you continue to laugh about the situation. Making a few jokes. You think about the lost time at work and decide if I need the money I will just use a couple hours out of my Paid Time Off account. The new tire will surely provide me more safety. You think buying a new tire will be supporting the economy. Also, the guy at the local tire shop is putting his daughter through college, and he could use the business.
You have the choice. We can apply this scenario to any situation. We need to search for the good in everything and give thanks.
There is a calmness to a life lived in Thankfulness, a quiet joy
There has been scientific study done by Dr. Michael McCullough, of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and Dr. Robert Emmons, of the University of California at Davis, say their initial scientific study indicates that thankfulness plays a significant role in a person's sense of well-being.
It is good to see the science minded folks are finally catching up to us spiritual minded folks. LOL

There are a few things we can do to increase our Power of Appreciation.
1. We can start off by making a list of the things in our lives that we find grateful. Include everything. Depending our your situation you may find it hard come up with things to be grateful for but dig deep and the list will start flowing.
2. Start a mental appreciation list. A good time for this is during meditation. While meditating your brain wave activity is decreased tremendously allowing the affirmation to penetrate deeper into the subconscious mind.
3. Start a nightly ritual of writing down the things you are grateful for today. You will carry these thoughts to sleep with you while your brain is closer to the subconscious state.
There are two levels of Gratitude in our lives.
1. Being thankful for things in our lives.
2. Becoming a Thankful Being. This means that we walk, talk, eat, and sleep gratitude. Every breath that we take we feel grateful for. It is natural for us to feel grateful for everything in our lives. This will take some effort but this attitude can be developed with practice.
I am grateful that I had the opportunity to share my studies and practices concerning Gratitude.
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.
Having an attitude of gratitude comes from being truly grateful for what is in your life. This is a conscious decision intended to realize the blessings in your life with the emotion that is coupled with it. This is real gratitude, a thankfulness that is true, coming from the heart and soul of your very being.
A person who is not grateful may find themselves uttering "Thank you" a few times a day, but never means it because this is as empty as the heart from which it came. The words "Thank you" holds little power to engage the Law of Gratitude if there is no real gratefulness behind the words. It is as if some people forgot what being thankful really feels like.

Power of Gratitude
Realize the
power of gratitude
is very tied to the power of intention in that both of these actions help to activate the Law of Attraction and energize your thoughts to stay grounded in the positive light. This power of gratitude as but one important aspect of creating the happiness and abundance you deserve.
Through quantum physics we now know that everything there is -
is vibrational matter. All matter is energy made up of sub-atomic particles and atoms. Through this unified energy field, our thoughts resonate and project. Based on our feelings, emotions and thoughts, this determines our vibration frequency that is broadcast from us out into the universe. This is our own unique, vibrational signal. It is the personal signature that we resonate that is answered and returned to us. This is how the Law of Attraction works, plain and simple.
